Nuti ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to transparency about the data and device access we use to provide AI-powered food analysis. This policy describes what access the application requests and how we use your information.
App access & permissions
The Nuti app may request the following access on your device:
We request camera access so you can take a photo of your meal directly in the app. Photos are used only for food recognition and nutrition analysis. You can deny camera access and use the gallery or manual entry instead.
We request access to your photo library so you can choose an existing image of your food for analysis. Only the images you explicitly select are used; we do not scan or access your full library.
If you create an account, we store your email, name, and authentication data so you can sign in, manage your profile, and sync your nutrition history across devices.
Data we collect and use
- Food images — Photos you take or select are sent to our servers for AI-based food recognition and nutrition analysis. They are processed to generate results and may be stored in association with your account for your scan history and reports.
- Scan results — Nutrition data, health scores, and insights are stored so you can view history and reports.
- Waitlist — If you join the waitlist on our website, we collect your name and email to notify you about launch and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
How we protect your data
We use industry-standard practices to secure your data and do not sell your personal information to third parties. AI processing is used only to provide the analysis features described in the app.
Your choices
You can revoke camera or photo library access at any time in your device settings. You can delete your account and associated data through the app. For waitlist emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message.
